Brian Goldston designs interactive experiences and systems. For over 20 years, he and his design studio have created innovative products and services for a diverse roster of clients, including Visa, Levi Strauss & Co., UPS, Scholastic, and AFS-USA. Projects include design of an early contactless payment system and mobile wallet—a precursor to ApplePay, United Parcel Service’s online tracking system, Flex Global View, and Scholastic Books Clubs ordering online for teachers, students, and their families.
In addition, as Executive Vice President of Tools & Technology, he founded the digital practice at SYPartners, a management consulting company. Working with clients such as IBM, Starbucks, and Virgin America, his team helped transform organizations (their brand, culture, and business strategy) through storytelling, interaction design, and technology.
He holds a BA from Vassar College with a focus on contemporary American poetry. He loves poetry for its ability to communicate to the most amount of information in the smallest amount of space—an ideal he aspires to in his use of design and technology.
